I live with my lovely husband and beautiful baby girl Annie
Although I am currently off on maternity leave, I work as a Primary school teacher. I love my job but it doesn't leave me much time for baking which is why I have gone a little baking mad while I have been off!
I love trying out new things and so far I have made vanilla sponge, chocolate cakes, rainbow cake, cola cake, oreo cakes, carrot cake, rocky road, brownies, coffee and walnut cake, and tiffin to name a few!
I absolutely love the decorating side and enjoy being creative with icing.
I find it all really theraputic.
Things that make me happy:
My family - they are weird, wondeful, loving and all different.
My husband - what did I do to deserve him?!
Being a Mummy - I can't believe I get to look after such a beautiful, happy, amazing bundle every day. Why do babies smell so amazing?
Coffee - black or white with one sugar (it's an addiction).
Reality TV and gossip mags (guilty pleasure).
Pink - my engagement ring is a pink sapphire and I smile every time I put it on.
Exercise - aerobics, dancing, running, interval training.
Painting.
Early nights.
BAKING.
